San Francisco
This week I spent a few days in San Francisco. This city is so fun! I love the greenery everywhere, the water, and lets just talk about the fog for a minute. The fog was one of my favorite things about San Fran. It was so heavy as we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and slowly faded as you went closer and closer to the city. As we were driving around we came across this side street that was fairly secluded and had hardly any traffic so we pulled over and snapped a few pictures while the fog was still pretty heavy. I was enamored with the fog and how it made everything look so magical.
After driving around the city looking at all the buildings and a few parks we decided to stop by a locally bakery that I had heard so many good things about. Holmes sweet Holmes is this cute little bakery with black and white tiled floors and a sign that says, "I GOT BAKED IN SAN FRANCISCO." it was a fun little place to stop and grab a yummy cupcake.
The crooked road is also something thats fun to see if you don't get car sick. This street is the most crooked street in the country and is lives up to its name, however if you don't get car sick I highly recommend it. We also drove by the Mrs. Doubtfire house which Is exactly the same as I remembered from the hundreds of times I watched that movie growing up. The house is absolutely beautiful but what I thought was so neat was the pavement that lined the front of the house was written with permanent marker of memories or quotes of the late Robin Williams. It was so humbling to see all the quote from his movies that made a huge impact on all of these people, myself included. I loved seeing a tribute to an actor I too adored. It was just beautiful.
Considering that we were only in San Francisco for a few days I was very happy with all that we crammed in. Some of my favorite photos from the trip below:
